Map my launch

Launch

Get your product in front of the directories and communities that send real traffic.

Launch

Directories

Get your launch listed across the directories that actually send traffic.

What
Directories tracks every startup/product directory your launch map targets, and whether the companion has submitted, is pending, or hasn't touched each one yet.
How
Open the window and work down the list — the companion pre-fills the submission form for each directory, you review it in the extension, and hit submit. Directories itself just shows you what's left and what's live.
Setup
Install the companion first (see its tutorial) — Directories has nothing to submit without it. No separate account or API key needed.
Why
Directory listings are slow, repetitive form-filling — dozens of near-identical "name, tagline, category, logo" forms. Automating the fill (not the submit) gets you through the list in minutes instead of an afternoon, while a human still reviews every submission before it goes out.

Launch

Companion

The Chrome extension that pre-fills every directory form for you.

What
The Companion is a free Chrome extension that pre-fills directory submission forms from your product profile — name, tagline, category, logo, links — so you're reviewing and clicking submit instead of retyping the same details dozens of times.
How
Install it from the Chrome Web Store, sign in, then click the extension on any directory's submission page — it fills the form from your launch profile. You review before you submit; it never auto-submits or solves captchas for you.
Setup
One-time browser install, then it's signed in to your launch account automatically. Works alongside Directories, which tracks which submissions still need it.
Why
Directory submission is the most repetitive, lowest-value-per-minute task in a launch. The Companion removes the typing, not the judgment — you still decide what gets submitted where.

Phone App

Install the launch app to your home screen — push alerts, on the go.

What
The Phone App is a install-to-home-screen version of your launch dashboard (a PWA, not an App Store download) — scan the QR, and it signs you in and installs in one tap.
How
Scan the QR code with your phone's camera (no app needed to scan it) — it opens a sign-in link, installs to your home screen, and turns on push notifications. Prefer email? Use "Email me the link instead."
Setup
No signup beyond your existing launch account. The QR/link expires (15 minutes for the QR, 7 days for an emailed link) — generate a fresh one if it's gone stale.
Why
This is the one place the install QR permanently lives. It used to be a dismissable hint inside the Hive window — once you closed it, it was gone for good. Now it's always here.

Launch

Communities

The subreddits and communities where your launch actually fits.

What
Communities lists the subreddits your launch map matched to your product — member count, a fit label, and a one-line reason each one made the list.
How
Click through to a community on Reddit to see it for yourself before posting there. You can also add a community you're already active in for reference; it's local to your session and doesn't change the generated map.
Setup
No setup — this is generated as part of your launch kit alongside your drafted posts.
Why
Posting in the wrong community gets you removed or ignored; posting in the right one gets you real early users. Communities exists so you're not guessing which subreddits are worth your time.

Launch

Posts

A preview of your drafted Reddit, X and LinkedIn posts, before you have an account.

What
Posts shows the same drafted content as the Outbox — Reddit, X, LinkedIn — but for someone previewing a generated launch kit before creating an account.
How
Browse the drafted posts and other channels for this kit to see exactly what generating one produces. Create a free account to unlock full editing and posting.
Setup
Nothing to set up — it renders on the public results page as soon as a kit exists. Once you have an account you use the Outbox instead; owners never see this window.
Why
Seeing the real drafted content, not a marketing screenshot, is what convinces someone the kit is worth signing up for.

Launch

Get it done

The 3-step checklist that turns a generated kit into a working launch.

What
Get it done is the checklist shown right after your kit generates: create your free account, install the companion, add the mobile app.
How
Work through the steps in order — each one links straight to the action (sign up, install the companion, install the mobile app).
Setup
Nothing of its own to configure — it appears automatically once a kit has been generated for someone without an account yet.
Why
A generated kit nobody follows through on is wasted work. Get it done turns "here's your kit" into a clear path to actually using it.

Content

Everything the engine drafts for you — chat, posts, video — one queue you approve from.

Content

Hive

Your launch assistant — it already knows your product, ask it anything.

What
Hive is a chat window that already has your product, your launch map, and your progress loaded — the same assistant used across the paid engine, scoped to your launch.
How
Type a question or ask it to do something ("draft a reply to this comment", "which directory should I do next", "remix this into a video: <link>") and it answers or acts using your real launch data, not generic advice. Hand it a long video link and it comes back with a few takes to choose from rather than picking one for you.
Setup
Nothing to set up — it reads your launch instance automatically. It works best once your launch kit has generated (product, communities, drafts).
Why
Most "how do I launch this" questions are specific to your product and your progress, not generic. Hive can see both, so its answers are actually actionable instead of a checklist you have to translate yourself.

Outbox

Everything the engine has written for you to send — posts, comments and DMs — in one queue.

What
The Outbox is everything waiting to go out, in one place: posts for your own feeds, comments on other people's threads, and DMs — across Reddit, X, LinkedIn, Facebook and Instagram. Three views: Queue is what's waiting on you, Archive is what has already gone out (with the live link), and Calendar shows a Content Series dropping a post a day.
How
Open a draft, read it, edit anything that doesn't sound like you, then Smart Post — that copies the text and opens the right composer, so you paste and publish. Mark it Posted when it's out, or Skip it (you get ten seconds to undo). Comments are typed for you by the companion extension in your own browser. On a wide desktop window you get a list on the left and the full draft on the right, with j/k to move, e to Smart Post, p for posted and s to skip.
Setup
Nothing to configure — drafts appear as the engine finds threads and your launch kit generates. Install the companion if you want comments typed for you, and Creator adds the Calendar and Content Series.
Why
Your own posts never go out on their own — every one needs your tap. The exception is COMMENTS on Creator: you can switch the desktop companion to full-auto for Reddit, LinkedIn, Instagram and Facebook, each with its own daily cap. That is opt-in, off until you turn it on, and the daily caps live in the Commenter window. Everything else is here to remove the blank page and the tab-hopping: the writing, the right link, and the record of what you already sent, all in one place.

Video Studio

Turn a trending topic or a URL into a short video, on credits.

What
Video Studio walks you through making a short video two ways: search a trending topic and let it write the script, or paste a URL (a short, a TikTok, an article) and remix it into your own video.
How
Pick trend or remix, choose or paste your source, then walk the wizard forward: script review, narration, filler footage, recording, and the final assembled blocks. Every stage is saved as you go, so refreshing mid-build doesn't lose your place. Paste a LONG source — a talk, a podcast, a multi-topic news video — and it won't guess which part you meant: it splits the source into a few self-contained takes and asks which one to script. Nothing is created and no video credit is spent until you pick. Short sources skip the question and go straight to a script.
Setup
Runs on your account's video credits — no separate signup. Available on both free and Creator launch accounts.
Why
Video is the highest-effort content type and the easiest to skip. Video Studio cuts the setup cost — script, source footage, editing — down to a few clicks so a launch actually gets a video instead of settling for text posts only.

Demo Builder

Turn a screen recording into a chaptered product demo.

What
Demo Builder takes a screen recording you upload and turns it into a chaptered, captioned demo video — chapter markers on a scrubber, corner captions you can edit, a live desktop/mobile preview.
How
Upload your recording, wait for it to transcode, then drop chapter markers where the demo shifts topic and add a caption at each one. Preview how it reads on desktop and mobile before you export.
Setup
Opens full-screen (the editor needs the whole canvas) — nothing to configure beyond having a recording ready to upload.
Why
A raw screen recording is hard to watch — no context, no pacing. Chapters and captions turn it into something a stranger can follow in 30 seconds, which is what actually gets shared and watched.

Waitlist

Run a pre-launch waitlist: signups, milestones, export.

What
Waitlist manages a pre-launch subscriber list for your product — turning it on, tracking milestone counts, exporting the list, and GDPR deletion requests.
How
Enable the waitlist, share your launch page so people can join it, and watch signups and milestones from this window. Export the list whenever you need it outside the app.
Setup
Owner-only — this is your own instance's waitlist, so it only makes sense signed in as the launch owner. Nothing else to configure to turn it on.
Why
A waitlist turns "nobody knows this exists yet" into a list of people who already said yes — momentum and social proof you can point to on launch day, instead of starting from zero.

My Listing

Your public directory profile — submit it, then track its status.

What
My Listing is your maker profile on the public directory: your product, description, and links, plus its review status (not submitted, in review, live, or rejected).
How
Fill in your listing details and submit — it goes into review, and this window tells you when it's approved and live (or what needs fixing if it's rejected).
Setup
Free on both tiers — every launch account gets a listing, and submitting it costs nothing. It's the free tier's entry point to the public directory.
Why
The directory is discovery surface you don't have to build yourself. A live listing is a permanent, searchable place people can find your product outside of any single social post.

Grow with Creator

Auto-comment into real conversations and track what comes back — Creator tier.

Grow with CreatorCreator

Commenter

Auto-comment on relevant posts to get your launch in front of real conversations (Creator).

What
Commenter finds posts relevant to your product across social platforms and drafts (or, once you turn it on, posts) comments that engage with the conversation and mention your launch where it's relevant.
How
Review the queue of matched posts and drafted comments, edit anything that doesn't fit, and either post manually or turn on auto-post once you trust the drafts. Comment Threads (a separate window) tracks the reply-and-DM follow-up for anything you've commented on.
Setup
Creator-tier only — a free launch account can't auto-post here (the server enforces this; the tile shows locked with an explanation if you're free). Nothing else to configure once you're Creator.
Why
Cold posting into a community gets ignored; commenting on an existing conversation gets read. Commenter puts your launch into conversations that are already happening, instead of adding one more post nobody asked for.
Read the launch playbook
Grow with CreatorCreator

Conversations

Every comment you've made, who replied, and what happened next.

What
Conversations is the ledger for your comment threads: which post you commented on, why, whether they replied, and the state of any DM follow-up.
How
Open it to see the full history at a glance instead of hunting back through each platform's notifications — it's read-only, a record of what Commenter (and you) have done.
Setup
Creator-tier, same as Commenter — it has nothing to show without comments to track.
Why
A launch generates dozens of small interactions across platforms in the first week. Without a single ledger, follow-ups get lost. Conversations is the one place that shows you who's worth following up with.

Your account

The brand, targeting and billing settings everything above reads from.

Your account

Settings

Your brand, targeting, and billing — everything that shapes your launch.

What
Settings holds everything that configures your launch: brand & voice, lead targeting, billing and credits, and account-level danger-zone actions.
How
Open the section you need — Brand & Voice if your posts don't sound right, Billing if you're managing credits or your plan, and so on. A free launch account sees a trimmed-down set (Niche / Brand / Billing / Danger) rather than the full paid-engine settings.
Setup
Nothing extra to install — this is the account you already have. Some sections only apply once you're on Creator.
Why
Everything Hive writes and every draft it generates reads from your brand & voice settings — getting them right once makes every piece of generated content sound like you instead of generic AI copy.
